A creamy body-only polish for arms and legs that uses oats for softness and coconut as a fresh grocery/body-care ingredient.

Best for: Gentle Body Polish. Patch test topical recipes first and keep fresh mixtures clean.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons finely ground oats or oat flour
- 1 tablespoon coconut milk, added slowly
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil, softened
- 1 teaspoon honey, optional
Why these ingredients
Oats give a soft polish, coconut milk adds creaminess, and coconut oil adds slip so the recipe feels cushioned rather than scratchy. Honey is optional and should be kept as a grocery ingredient.
How to make and use it
- Mix oats and coconut oil in a clean bowl.
- Add coconut milk slowly until the texture is creamy, not runny.
- Massage over damp body skin with very light pressure for 30–60 seconds per area.
- Rinse well in the shower.
- Pat dry and follow with a light body lotion or oil.
Timing and frequency
Use once weekly at most. Make fresh and discard leftovers after the shower.
Common mistakes
- Do not use on the face.
- Avoid freshly shaved, sunburned, broken or irritated skin.
- The shower floor can become slippery; rinse the area well.
Quick checklist
- Measure ingredients instead of guessing.
- Use clean tools and fresh mixtures.
- Stop topical use if skin, scalp or body feels uncomfortable.
- Fresh grocery ingredients are not iHerb product suggestions.
