Ingredients

Why these ingredients

Oats give a soft polish, coconut milk adds creaminess, and coconut oil adds slip so the recipe feels cushioned rather than scratchy. Honey is optional and should be kept as a grocery ingredient.

How to make and use it

  1. Mix oats and coconut oil in a clean bowl.
  2. Add coconut milk slowly until the texture is creamy, not runny.
  3. Massage over damp body skin with very light pressure for 30–60 seconds per area.
  4. Rinse well in the shower.
  5. Pat dry and follow with a light body lotion or oil.

Timing and frequency

Use once weekly at most. Make fresh and discard leftovers after the shower.
